About The Kidney Group
The Kidney Group, LLC was founded in April 2004 by 3 partners who have experience providing clinical care and running PD clinics. They are:
- Dana Campbell, MD. Dr. Campbell has focused his nephrology practice in the area of PD since his fellowship and work on the CANUSA PD study in 1990-92. He opened his first freestanding PD clinic in 1993. Currently, Dr. Campbell manages more than 100 PD patients at The Kidney Institute in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Campbell is a strong advocate for the use of PD; in his clinic, 75% of the patients are using PD.
- Janet Dees. Dees brings 25+ years of experience in the management, acquisition, and construction of dialysis clinics to her position as Chief Operating Officer.
- June Clark. A certified nephrology nurse, Clark has more than 15 years of experience as an administrator. She has extensive business management and Medicare billing expertise. She is also the owner of Nephrology Care Management Systems, Inc., which provides renal disease management services for contracted health plans.

He believes the shared ownership and financial investment creates the ideal model for successful patient care and operations. However, The Kidney Group can invest 100% of the initial capital and/or establish other business structures, as needed.
