The mission of HDS is to assist its clients in creating an environment where the highest quality, cost effective services can be delivered for its renal patients. Over the last several years HDS has assisted clients in establishing freestanding PD programs and most recently consulted with a large hospital system in Florida to address the long term needs of its ventilator patients requiring hemodialysis services.
Carrie McGinnis, RN, MBA, is our Chief Executive Officer and has over twenty years experience in acute and outpatient dialysis management as well as nephrology practice management. In addition to her ongoing work in ESRD provider consulting, Ms. McGinnis is an industry leader in the development and implementation of nephrologist led renal integrated delivery networks.
Our Chief Operating Officer, Mark Feigal, has been a healthcare consultant in the renal care field since 1986, specializing in the financial side of the equation. Mr. Feigal brings a business development emphasis to HDS, along with extensive experience with hospital-based providers.
Our Reimbursement Specialist, Cheryl Pezzelle, RN, has over 20 years of experience in the area of appropriate revenue maximization for nephrologists and dialysis facilities, and has acquired extensive Medicare reimbursement guideline expertise. Ms. Pezzelle leads HDS's contract billing service, and provides training, billing system overviews and trouble shooting for practices and dialysis facilities.
Our Billing Office Director, Mike Pezzelle, has entrepreneurial business experience since 1984. Mr. Pezzelle has extensive expertise in computer systems, communication software and the Medical Manager software with particular focus on the Dialysis Posting System use and training.
